Pond:

It is finally fall! The weather is getting a little bit cooler (slowly, I know) and leaves are starting to fall....right into your pond. Fallen leaves can cause your clear water that you worked so hard to achieve to become a muddy brown and creates harmful living conditions for your fish. The best way to deal with fall leaves is to prevent it in the first hand by installing a net over your pond. Nets block leaves and debris from getting into your water garden while still allowing you to enjoy your fish and the beautiful of your water garden.

Fish:

While it may be fall and the weather is finally getting a bit cooler, the water in your pond is still war. This means that, for the time being, you should be feeding your fish regular fish food. Store our cold water fish food in the garage until it gets a bit chillier. This will ensure that your fish are getting the ample nutrients they need for the environment they are currently in. And, due to the warm water in your pond, you can still add fish, while keeping them comfortable. We all know that fish are the true jewels of any water garden!

Plants:

This is a prime example of what you don't want your water garden to look like
Even though summer is now behind us, string algae can still be a serious problem. No one wants to see that slimy green stuff in their pond when they could be looking at clear beautiful water. A great way to fight this is using Algaecide. Come by NBW for a clearer pond!
