Living the Water Feature Lifestyle
"Today more than ever, time is a coveted possession. At Nature's Beauty, our passion is helping people transform their yards and subsequently how they spend their time. When you own a water feature you transform a house into a home. You create an escape from the stress of the world right where you live. How important is that in today's world?! We have dubbed this trend 'Living The Water Feature Lifestyle.' The Water Feature Lifestyle is what you experience owning and living with a water feature. It's how you interact with it but even more descriptively, it's how it interacts with you! When you live with a water garden, a waterfall, or even a decorative fountainscape you will be seduced outside, away from the T.V., the computer, the rat-race. People simply don't sit in their yards for hours on end watching their flowers grow. When your feeding the fish, watching the birds splash in your waterfall or simply gazing hypnotically and listening to the beautiful sounds of a babbling brook, you're experiencing 'The Water Feature Lifestyle' right where you live... at home!"Sale: With Installation of Pond a Free 3 Light Kit

Tropical Water Lily
Tropical water lilies can come in almost every color of the rainbow. They add color, beauty, shade, and serve as filters for your ponds. They get their name because they usually live only in the summer temperatures. Many people wonder, if they die in the winter why not just get hardy water lilies? The book The Hobbyist's Guide To Pond Plants brings out 9 reasons why.
- They are available in all the same colors as hardies, but also include blues, purples, and violets...exceedingly rare colors in the entire water plant spectrum.
- They are intensely fragrant with a pleasing and pervasive aroma, which immediately causes anyone standing within a few feet of them to be caught up to olfactory heaven.
- The flowers do not float, but are rather borne 6 to 12 inches above the water, giving the plant a three-dimensional effect.
- The flowers are much larger than the flowers of most hardy water lilies.
- They are available in both day and night-blooming models.
- The plants can get huge.
- The leaves on some varieties can be molted and streaked with purple, deeply toothed, the undersides deeply veined, and can easily attain diameters of 15 inches.
- They make excellent cut flowers.
- They bloom much more profusely than hardies, with three to five blooms open on most days during warm weather.
