Summer is Almost Here!

NBWG Newsletter

Plants

It's almost that time. The time for summer barbecues, trips to the pool, enjoying your yard and the nature within it. And you can't enjoy your yard without your water garden being decked out in water plants. Water plants are a great way to remove unwanted murky water by being nature's filters. They pull out nitrates, which competes with algae, helping bring about clear water-something we all want. Some great filter plants include watercress, water forget-me-nots, water iris, loose strife, water lettuce, and water hyacinth. And we have just received our stock of water lettuce and water hyacinth!
